MONGE VETSOLUTION CANINE DIABETIC AND OBESITY is a complete dietetic food for dogs formulated to reduce excess body weight and control glucose intake (diabetes mellitus). It contains nucleotides to strengthen the immune system, plantain seeds to delay gastric emptying and induce satiety, and xylo-oligosaccharides (XOS) to preserve the intestinal microbiota. The formulation is characterized by a low energy value and low levels of mono- and disaccharides. This product is formulated with a single source of animal protein*.
COMPOSITION: Tuna, potato starch, fish oil (salmon oil 2%), yeast products (1%, hydrolysed of which free nucleotides 44%), minerals, xylo-oligosaccharide (XOS 0.4%), plantain seeds (0.2%). Carbohydrate source: potato starch.
ANALYTICAL CONSTITUENTS: Crude protein: 9.5%, Crude fibre: 1.5%, Crude fat: 2%, Crude ash: 1.8%, Moisture: 80%, Starch: 2.2%, Total sugars: 0.1%, Metabolisable Energy Value: 685 kcal/kg (equation Modified At Water).
ADDITIVES/kg: NUTRITIONAL ADDITIVES: Vitamin A (retinyl acetate) 4,375 IU/kg, Vitamin D3 245 IU/kg, Vitamin E (tocopheryl acetate) 29 mg/kg, Zinc (zinc oxide 20 mg/kg) 16 mg/kg.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: It is recommended to seek the advice of a veterinarian before use and before extending the duration of use. Recommended duration of use: until the target weight is reached and thereafter as needed to maintain the target body weight. For glucose control (diabetes mellitus): initially up to six months. For effective weight loss or maintenance of ideal weight, the recommended daily energy intake should not be exceeded. The recommended daily ration indicated in the table can be divided into 2 meals per day. Serve at room temperature. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 24 hours. Store in a cool, dry place. *May contain traces of other protein sources. Dog food not suitable for human consumption.
