Diet Mobility Small Breed Pork and Rice
Exclusion Diet Mobility is a single-protein dietetic food for adult dogs formulated to support metabolism during osteoarthritis.
Exclusion Diet Mobility contains high levels of EPA, Omega-3 essential fatty acids, Vitamin E and βß-glucans and aims to reduce and slow the progression of the disease.
Indications : nutritional support of joint metabolism during osteoarthritis.
Osteoarthritis is the most common arthropathy in dogs.
It is characterized by mild inflammatory phenomena that lead to degenerative and progressive changes in the structure and function of the joint.
The consequences are: inflammation of the synovial membrane, destruction of the cartilage matrix, formation of osteophytes, thickening of the joint capsule and remodeling of the subchondral bone.
The causes of osteoarthritis can be congenital, such as hip dysplasia, or acquired such as traumatic injury, obesity.
In congenital conditions, normal forces are exerted on already diseased joints; in acquired conditions, abnormal pressures are exerted on healthy joints, which are thus damaged.
Clinical symptoms of osteoarthritis are common regardless of the cause: lameness when cold, stiff gait and pain on movement, joint swelling and crepitus, reduced or absent mobility.
Osteoarthritis treatment has a multimodal approach, which, depending on the patient's specific condition, may include: weight reduction, controlled physical activity, anti-inflammatories, glycosaminoglycans, and Omega-3 essential fatty acids.
Composition: rice (47%), dehydrated pork (17%), salmon oil, dehydrated alfalfa, dried beet pulp, chicken fat, hydrolysed pork protein, yeast, sodium chloride, dried chicory pulp, calcium carbonate, ß-1,3/1,6 glucans from yeast cell wall (0.1%), glucosamine (0.06%), chondroitin sulphate (0.03%).
Analytical components: protein 20%, crude oils and fats 15%, omega-3 fatty acids 3.3%, EPA 0.39%, crude ash 4.6%, crude fibre 4%, moisture 8%, calcium 0.8%, phosphorus 0.65%.
