Like all Ferplast carriers for medium-large dogs, the Atlas 40 is also manufactured in compliance with IATA air transport regulations, which govern its construction and internal accessories.

The Atlas 40 dog carrier has a base and top made of solid thermoplastic resin, the door is made of plastic-coated steel, lockable from the outside and equipped with a safety lock to prevent accidental opening during the journey.
Highly functional, Atlas 40 is equipped with both a fixed handle and a removable and extendable handle for easy transport.
Large side ventilation grilles allow for proper air circulation; the snap-on side hooks with safety lock keep the carrier securely closed and stable even during the longest journeys.
Spacious enough, the Atlas 40 dog carrier allows your faithful friend to stand during the journey, and to drink or eat whenever he wants thanks to the plastic feeder accessible from the outside.
If you wish, you can also purchase the washable cotton cushion or the special L145 or L440 wheel kit separately, suitable for carriers produced before July 2017 or after July 2017 respectively.
